Right it’s a BIG hype stirrin’ up in HQ now… Why!? … Well it’s T-7days until we go fully in essentially; party all night to demonstrations of what promises to be the finest D&B showcase in London that night – Friday 4th December. DON’T FORGET! Addictive, Rude, Horrific, Metalheadz, Critical, Peer Pressure and Shogun Audio to name but a few crews coming together on this event! It’s gonna be large!! … Then sitting tidily on the flyer, just under 31 Records (forgot to mention them!) boss Doc Scott, there is this crew – G.H.O.S.T representing Goldman Records. Get to know basically…
G.H.O.S.T! Big it up lads, why don’t we start with a quick intro… Who are ya and where u come from!? .. How do you lot know each other?
Hey guys!! Thanks for having us down for the night, looking forward to it!
G.H.O.S.T consists of three people now, Tom, Lewis and Will, all based in London. We met during Uni a few years ago and had a mutual interest in music and then things kind of grew from there to be honest.
Some of the best things always seem to come from or stem from Uni!

How is everything going with Goldman at the moment? ^^ Mini Ripper gets me every time – love the vibe on that one! So what are we looking out for next? Dates?
Nice one man! We were really pleased with the last release.
Things are going well with the label at the moment and we have more releases planned for next year with one under way at the moment. We just got the test presses back for GHST004 and they’re sounding pretty fat! The release date isn’t fully confirmed yet but it should be out on vinyl and digital within the first two months of 2016: keep your eyes open!
I know those tunes are ridiculous and big ups for representing the format, it’s wicked.
Tell us about how you prepare for a gig usually… What’s going to be the procedure before December 4th!?
To be honest, we don’t really massively pre plan our sets as we usually play B2B2B with one tune each. This allows/forces us to bounce off each other’s selection and keeps our sets interesting and ever-changing.
Like that! Any danger tracks coming to mind as we speak!?
There will be a little trip down to Music House the weekend before to cut some of our own new dubs for sure. We’re also looking forward to testing the TPs out loud along with hearing some classics that we are all keen to play!
Nice, really looking forward to hearing your set now and big ups for making the effort to get down to music house for those dubs – it’s a shame this kind of practice is so rare now!
Nice one, we love going down that place!
Ok I’ve seen the stacks (and stacks and stacks) of wax in your yard that you guys draw from and the aforementioned dubs really are danger! … I can promise the people planning on coming to our event pure riddim track after riddim track when these guys are on! 🙂
Advisory: Grab tickets (bottom of the page) don’t miss out!!!
Tell us who else your looking forward to seeing play on the night…
Always good to hear what Scotty is going to draw and we’re also looking forward to the dubplate tear-out from J.Bionic and Horrific James, that one is going to be dirt!
Plus Commix, L33 and Xanadu hopefully playing a lot of nice own music!
Hear that! Ok, we’re going to draw this one to an end now but thanks for taking the time to speak with us G.H.O.S.T … Don’t forget to check out all things Goldman related here
Any final thoughts you want to leave us on? shouts? a joke maybe!?
Just a big thanks to everyone that has been supporting us and to In-Reach for having us down!
The pleasure is ours guys, see you in a week! 🙂
