I can’t believe it’s been 3 years since the BSE boys rebranded the label! One thing is for sure, the quality has not changed one bit; always pushing the envelope!
Blackout are synonymous with the darker styles of DnB; easily one of the stand-out brands within the scene, they have a catalogue of music and a roster of artists that is second to none.
‘3 years of Blackout’ is a collection of remixes of tracks released on Blackout from the last 3 years. This release is top notch and brilliant value for money. It is well up there with ‘Variations on Black’ from 2013 which also boasts some proper beast remixes.

Mindscape feat’ Kryptomedic – One sound (Rido remix)
If you’re looking for something to speed up that inheritance from your grandparents, play this at the next family party! Killer drums and transitions make this track a dance-floor destroyer!

Pythius – ‘BBT’ (Current Value remix)
One of my favourite Pythius tunes gets a full on bashing from Current Value. Hard swinging breaks are the order of the day and that gives the track a seriously hard edge. Really love how he has done this!

Black Sun Empire and State of Mind – ‘Ego’ (VIP)
Oh my days! The original was tough but the collaboration keeps on giving with this VIP. It’s got everything that makes a classic track; tight drums, killer lead and an insidious bass line.
