Summer has kicked off and it’s time to turn your flip flops upto 11. Here’s some beats that I’ve been spinning lately. It’s been a few weeks since the last Choice Cuts so not everything came out last Friday. Time is an illusion.
The almighty Sinistarr released a new EP on Defrostatica showcasing all his trademark vibes. Worth locking into if you fancy some Detroit and UK flavours mixed up and delivered via Leipzig.
Silent Dust have been busy. Their imprint, none60, dropped a new single from Hathor last month and they also just deployed a free download of Billie Eilish bootlegs. Rumour has it there is a various artists compilation, featuring the whole none60 stable, which is due to hit the shelves in July.
It’s a time for various artist releases as Hybris curated the Disinformation EP recently on his own label Pseudoscience Recordings. Featuring OaT, Ding, Xceot, MVRK and Hybris himself. Pseudoscience’s self described “deliberately misleading counterfactual sonics” certainly get you out of your comfort zone
Translation Recordings unleashed Fuj’s Crooks EP as well recently. Featuring five deadly rhythms infused with dubwise stylings and thundering drums. Check it out here. ..
