Manchester’s iconic Parklife Festival recently announced their biggest line-up yet, with 2017 headliners including: Manchester four-piece The 1975, globally acclaimed Frank Ocean and Grime’s golden boys Boy Better Know, plus performances from A Tribe Called Quest, London Grammar, Two Door Cinema Club, Chaka Khan and Damian Marley.
With one of the most diverse festival line-ups in the UK this year and with performances spanning pop, hip-hop, dance and indie, it’s no surprise that 10,000 early bird tickets have already been snapped up. Parklife will take place on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th June at Heaton Park, where over 75,000 people per day will descend from across the UK for the huge event. If you want to be one of those people, weekend tickets are just £96.50 and day tickets at £59.50.
Highlights from this year’s festival will include much anticipated sets from legends such as Fatboy Slim, Goldie and Andy C. Drum and bass headliners also include Wilkinson, Hype & Hazard, Noisia and Manchester favourite North Base. Manchester-based Solardo will be performing their unique breed of house and techno while the likes of P Money and Preditah will be pioneering for the grime heads.
This year’s VIP area’s theme will be “Return to New York” and will feature a High Line inspired structure leading to: a series of intimate spaces, art installations, NYC inspired street food vendors and plenty of hidden surprises – topped off with a ‘secret’ 80’s club space where ticket holders can find secret sets and frivolous activities.
One of Manchester’s most iconic and diverse festivals, Parklife is not one you want to miss. Check out the full line-up and event details below!
