[dropcap]A[/dropcap]ttention Outlook crew, the wait is finally over! The full line up for the 2016 festival was released earlier today with some absolutely massive additions. If you weren’t satisfied with the likes of Calibre, Noisia, Damien Marley and the tonnes of other incredible acts announced back in January (check out our top 5 picks from the first wave here), then the final list, with over eighty new additions, is sure to quench whatever musical thirst you possess.
The new addition that’s got me most excited is the trio of Roni Size, Krust and Dynamite MC who are teaming up for a tribute to their legendary drum and bass label, Full Cycle, which has been around for over 20 years. These two veteran DJ’s and they’re explosive MC are sure to set the place alight with non stop riddims!
Another hugely exiting addition is Benga who we’ve seldom heard from in the last few years, but he’s coming back stronger than ever. February saw the release of his ‘Future Funk’ EP which shows off the sound he has described as “the most ‘me’ it’s been since Diary of an Afro Warrior”; a statement which I’m sure will instill plenty of excitement in anyone familiar with the Croydon producer’s masterful second album.
