It’s that time of the month again where we take a look at some recent drum and bass belters. Check them out with your ears.
First up the man Hybris started a brand new label for his own left field productions. Pseudoscience Recordings delivered its first release a few weeks ago in the form of Say Hello To The Future. One of the tracks River Rat is even available for free download so you can test the waters of this one.
The Mouse Outfit Manchester’s live hip hop outfit have just dropped a new track with Fox and probably Manchester’s most killing it new export, IAMDDB. Groovy.
The Lisbon based label, Skalator Music have been having a good year with a string of releases. They’ve just dropped this new one from homegrown production duo, Neurotoxin.
Quentin Hiatus also deployed a smashing EP of experimental vibes for Translation Recordings. He’s been cutting his crazy left field groove for a while now and he’s really getting somewhere.
Kjubi and Amon Bay have known each other for a long time but this is the first time they’ve teamed up in the studio to make their debut Boundless Beatz single. It’s in the playlist.
The english gent, FD, has released an extensive EP for Lenzman’s label, The North Quarter. It’s definitely worth getting your teeth into the whole release as this is a big EP with some great features. I’ve selected the one with Fox for this month’s playlist.
