Homesick to release “BURNOUT 2099” on Defrostatica

Another Red Bull Music Academy alumni is bringing some heat to 2019 with a new EP on German bass music label, Defrostatica. Homesick has been blazing a trail of footwork inspired beats for a number of years now. The owner of the prolific Footwork Jungle Blog out of Calgary, Canada he released his first productions in 2013, which gained a stamp of approval from the industry two years later when he earned a place on the prestigious Red Bull Music Academy.

Fast forward to 2019 and he’s still churning out the beats. Next up he’s got the Burnout 2099 EP. The home of his new EP, Defrostatica, has become a powerhouse over the last 18 months. Throwing out release after release slap bang in the middle of the growing grey area between jungle, juke, footwork and bass music.
