Digital will say that in the last couple of years, ‘Function Records is all about Me me me!’ That’s fair enough because it was originally set up to express himself as an artist while keeping his own identity. Things will be different in 2017 as Function will release music again from other artists whose individual style shines through..

Firstlly 2015’s mammoth collaboration with Drumsound & Simon Bassline Smith gets a truly thumping Spirit treatment. J Kenzo works his hypnotic basshead magic on one of his all-time favourite Digital tracks, ‘Daylight Robbery’. Benny Page then unleashes amen fury on ‘Calling VIP’ and last but by no means least, having recently appeared on his Hospital Mixtape, we bring you SPY’s massively in-demand Deadline Remix for the first time on vinyl.
