Red Bull Music Academy alumni Hyroglifics glides into 2019 with his latest release on Critical Music – the ‘Cash Out EP’.
Since the release of his ‘South London’s Finest’ EP in March last year, aficionados of Hyroglific’s forward-thinking productions & innovative sound palette have been waiting to cop the latest offering from the Bristol-based DJ and producer.
Transcending from half-time glitch through to future soul and including a heavyweight collab with Enei – ‘Cash Out’ covers all bases. ‘Unconditional’ sits comfortably in the ‘smooth-as-eggs’ future-soul category, ‘Empty Life’ takes the form of a menacing, lead-heavy stepper and ‘Cash Out’ delivers raw, hard-hitting half-time. Rounding off the EP is ‘Never Tell Me’ – a gritty, synth-driven collab with longtime label contributor Enei.
