Drum & Bass legend, Studio Pressure returns to making 170 bpm music at last after 17 years out of the game. Rupert Parkes has been very busy over the years, working on various film soundtracks for Paramount pictures and continuing his music productions in the House scene in L.A, under his well known name Photek. Originally from St.Albans, Studio pressure was a house-hold name in the Jungle scene in the early 90’s. With anthems such as Jump MK2 and the Form & Function series on the legendary Certificate 18, Photek was a pioneer of an original sound in the Jungle scene back in the 90’s.
Photek recently broke the news that the first Studio Pressure release in 17 years will drop in October on Photek Productions, and he’s definitely bringing that old vibe back! The vinyl release for this will be limited, including an artwork poster, so don’t sleep on it! Check the release info below:
