“But if I buy these kicks i’ll never need to buy another pair again, I promise”.
Now, I couldn’t tell you how many times i’ve said this over the years and unfortunately for my bank balance it’s never been true. That being said if I had to choose one pair of sneaks to see me through the rest of my days it would most certainly be one from the up and coming Nike Air Max Barefoot Pack.
Consisting of the classic Air Max 90 and ridiculously fresh Air Max Light, this pack presents a slight re-design to the shoe with an almost entire mesh upper secured with Hyperfuse technology making them the most lightweight design in their category and perfect for summer. You might be wondering what all the Hyperfuse fuss is about so let me explain. To put it simply, Hyperfuse is a combination of three different materials, a synthetic base layer, a mesh middle and a Thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) top layer. Nike have manage to fuse these together using a hot-melt process to create a material that is not only durable, but provides a more consistent fit with extra breathability.
The only down side to the Barefoot Pack is it’s not due to drop until April, meaning we have another agonising month of wait, suffice to say I haven’t been this excited about a pick up since the Asics x BaitMe Vanquish Gel Lyte III. The pack will be available from all good retailers or head over to www.nike.com for more.
