So me and Will.a headed into Farringdon last Friday to catch the full 360 of drum & bass, spread across all 3 rooms of Fabric Nightclub.
Let me begin with Ingredients Records, where we spent most of our night. This was Ingredients Records debut @ Fabric, gracing room 3 with a very special lineup indeed.
Kicking things off we had Stealth who went IN! Flawless mixing and raw selection! Definitely a producer to watch out for. Straight after we had Clive Ingredients, head-honcho of Ingredients. Clive dropped loads of fresh cuts, and it was nice to see him digging deep with the vinyl selection. Great to hear Mr Maverick & Nail Bomb. Up next we had a very special B2B, Villem, Mako & Fields. All 3 were vibing hard! Working off’ each other, rolling a solid hour of disgusting basslines and glitchy breaks. Room 3’s bass bins had a good pounding! Skeptical was next and he never disappoints. He was playing steppy, hard hittin’ bass fuelled 170bpm goodness. Always a highlight!
Leaving the best till last, we had one half of Total Science, Spinback in room 3. Absolute legends of the scene, who certainly showed us what it’s all about! I want to say a massive big-up to Bassline MC who hosted room 3 all night. He definitely knows how to connect with the audience, using his extensive knowledge of the music.
Over in room 2 we popped in as Dynamic was finishing. LTJ Bukem stepped up to the decks, SP:MC got on the mic warming in, the crowd roared back! Smooth, liquid drum funk rolled out for the remainder of the night. Managed to pop in towards the end for Grooveriders set who was on 4:30 – 6am. It was a nice change to see him draw for a deeper selection, slightly different from his usual style.
We popped in to room 1 to see some Dj hype action taking place and things were definitely going off! Big atmosphere coupled with even bigger bass lines kept the crowd in full swing during his Playaz heavy set list.
Big thanks to Fabric for inviting us down and Will.a on the visuals.[fsg_gallery id=”4″]
