"10 Best Pirate Radio Sets from Grime's Golden Age"

I’m not really a big fan of listicles, but this one I came across earlier puts all the time-wasting, soul-destroying bullshit features like  “39 Things Ed Sheeran Did In 2014 That Were Utterly Perfect.” to unbelievable levels of shame.

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he guys over at Complex Uk created a perfect list consisting of “The 10 Best Pirate Radio Sets From Grime’s Golden Age” back in November, and I’m sending it out to those of you that missed it as a little early christmas present, it’s calm you can thank me later.

Spanning from ’02 to ’06, the sets capture grime’s golden age for what it was back then; ridiculous levels of hype, bare high SPM(sends per minute), and ultra-violent bars. Fire like this from JME could’ve probably won BBK the soundclash back in October!…

“Leave you gutless come to your ends and send for the cutlass. Going on reckless come to your ends and jack your necklace”

Imagine a time where Dizzee could drop 90% of ‘Boy In Da Corner’ in a radio set, and Wiley & God’s Gift would feature for kicks. Take it back with this one.

“Dizzee on the pay as you go, bounce!”

Check out the link here.

All credit to Complex on this one. Big up.
